List, locate in the body, and compare the structure and function of the three major types of muscle tissue. Discuss the structure and function of skeletal muscle. Describe the role of other body systems in movement. Discuss the rule of the motor unit in muscle stimulation and how a muscle fiber contracts. Compare the major types of skeletal muscle contractions.  Describe the primary effects of exercise on skeletal muscle. List and explain the most common types of movement produced by skeletal muscles. Name identify on model or diagram, and give the function of the major muscles of the body. Name and describe the major disorders of skeletal muscles.
