Chapter 4 – Tissues (The Human Body)

Tissues consists of lectures, reading materials, online resources and discussions as well as guest speakers.

Explain how epithelial tissue is grouped according to shape and arrangement of cells.  List and briefly discuss the major types of connective and muscle tissue. Discuss nervous tissue and list the three structural components of a neuron. Describe how injured tissues regenerate in each of the four major types of tissue.
