Providing Restorative Care

Suggested time: 2 hours theory / 4 hours clinical (suggested)

Restorative (rehabilitative) care focuses on helping residents reach and maintain their highest possible level of independence and function, rather than doing things for them. This module covers the goals of restorative care, the rehabilitation team, range-of-motion exercises, and the CNA’s role in supporting a resident’s independence and self-esteem.
