We are thrilled to introduce this comprehensive Vocational Trade Aptitude Test, an integral part of the Locke Mentor Internship Program. This initiative is proudly sponsored by MIP, Green Dot Public Schools, and HCIS School-Based Health. Our goal is to empower high school and college students aged 16-24 with the insights and guidance they need to explore and excel within the MA and LVN certification programs.

Section Two: Interest Assessment Section

Part One: General Assessment

The first portion of the ‘Interest Assessment Section’ is designed to cover a broad range of vocational areas, helping students to discover their natural inclinations towards specific trades or fields. The responses will provide valuable insights into each student's interests, which can be used in conjunction with aptitude and skill assessments to guide them towards suitable vocational paths.

• Indicate your level of interest in each activity or subject.
• Use the following scale for your answers:

Part Two: Medical Vocational Assessment

The responses will provide insight into each student's inclinations, aiding in the selection of appropriate educational or career pathways in the medical domain.

Section Three: Medically Focused Aptitude Assessment Section

Below is a detailed ‘Aptitude Assessment Section’ for the Vocational Trade Aptitude Test in the medical field. This assessment involves two main components: evaluating ‘Cognitive Skills’ and assessing ‘Practical Skills’ through scenario-based questions. This section aims to gauge the logical reasoning, numerical ability, problem-solving skills, and practical thinking of the students. It is OK if you do not know the correct answer, use your judgement to choose a solution- do not overthink the questions as you are not graded for your answers.
