Employees are required to select one of these two days as their designated holiday, with sufficient advance notice to ensure proper scheduling and operational planning. Once an employee selects their designated holiday, they may not choose the other day for additional holiday pay. Employees are only eligible for holiday pay on the one day they select each year.
