We operate under three branches: Healthcare Integrated Services, Learn HCIS, and School-Based Health, each addressing vital needs in physical and behavioral healthcare, as well as education in the medical field for youth in low-income areas.

Company History
Healthcare Integrated Services (HCIS) was founded in 2003 with the mission to provide health and life skills services to low-income and medically underserved areas. Driven by a vision to create opportunities and forge positive results for student success, HCIS focuses on increasing access to quality healthcare, developing educational and career pathways for economically challenged students, and transforming the school-to-prison pipeline. Our integrated care system leverages collaborations among healthcare professionals, community service programs, and educational partnerships, all while prioritizing trauma-informed approaches.
Since our founding, we have built a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, educators, criminologists, public policy experts, and advocates. Key achievements include developing modular clinics, implementing an Electronic Health Records Management System, and establishing a research and development team to build our very own evidence based practice. Our partnership with Charles Drew University’s College of Science and Health has enabled course credit transfers, and we serve a handful of K-12 schools in the Compton, Los Angeles, and Inglewood School Districts. Additionally, we have earned U.S. Department of Labor apprenticeship certification. We are now expanding our services to Riverside and San Diego counties, continuing our commitment to improving lives in underserved communities.
